Performance and Driver Training Day (Darlington Park)

An extremely successful day with some 22 cars - 3 Lamborghinis, 7 Maseratis and 12 Ferraris. It started with a driver lecture, then a walk around part of the circuit and then some slow-speed training getting to understand the line of the circuit. We had 6 specialists who moved from car to car to assist members. We had our first run on the smaller circuit - a smaller, tighter circuit - which was fantastic. We then had a pause to give the cars and drivers time to cool down, and then headed to the high-speed long circuit. This circuit has an extremely long straight with a fast corner at the end - quite exciting when you're going along there at 200kmh. There was some racing (training) between several of the attendees, followed by an excellent lunch. Many people spent considerable time explaining their prowess to the gathering. This was probably the best car day we have had.
