Pride of Ownership Day

Members gathered on the 'Rigging Lawn' at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) for the Club's 'not too serious' Concourse de Elegance. Weather was perfect (as it always is in Queensland) and all enjoyed the culinary delights of the Boardwalk Cafe and the cool liquid libations of the Yachties Bar.
Categories were unorthodox, ranging from the oldest to the newest vehicle and the vehicle with the best presented paint work. The structure was very successful, with every proud Maserati owner taking home a prize. Show vehicles created considerable interest among RQYS members, guests and RQYS management, in that we have been invited to return to 'show off' at any time. Let's face it - Maseratis, yachts, motor cruisers - what can one say, 'hand in glove'.
An excellent day all round for the Club and members.
